Sampling Valves – ZERO DEAD VOLUME
Decades of experience and the supply of the most reliable valves has made BHDT well known all over the world as a manufacturer of high pressure valves, especially for Urea, Ammonia, Melamine and LDPE plants.
Together with its clients BHDT has developed a zero dead volume sample valve for UREA plants with numerous advantages: BHDT Sampling Valves are designed to guarantee the easy and safe taking of on stream samples. The special integrated design of the valve internals like the valve stem and seat assures a minimum dead volume. This means that crystallization cannot occur and accordingly there is no need to pre-heat the sample line before taking the sample.
In addition there is no need to flush the sample line first as there is no old solution at the inlet of the valve. Furthermore the specific design of the spindle guarantees a high controllability of the sample flow.
All Valves are designed to fully meet the client’s requirements. Different face to face dimensions, connecting details, flow directions, internals and options (steam jacket, flushing possibility, etc.) can be realised.
All valves undergo a dedicated testing procedure that guarantees the highest level of quality of the finished product. Additional client or project specific inspections requirements can be added at ordering stage through a project specific Inspection and Test Plan.
